So, I wanted to find some authentic-sounding insults to toss about and found this link:

Elizabethan insults!

Just posting so I get notifications. I will probably post further, as I make extensive use of the internet for flavor text purposes.

Too good not to post. Scott has been kicking around the idea of a 'Rat on a Stick' motif for a pbp. I stumbled across this today.

I think kinda has to run it now...

Yes, I eventually might run a brief Rat on a Stick "side PBP" as an adjunct to the main game, using the old Tunnels and Trolls module. The gimmick is that you play scrubby little monsters vending food to other dungeon denizens. It would be scrupulously non-serious and strictly a side thing for anyone who wanted to get involved.

Philotomy's OD&D Musings, by an articulate fellow who seems to have a good grasp of the appeal and design philosophy of OD&D:
http://www.philotomy.com

I should also point out that I'm considering a side Bunnies and Burrows campaign at some point. Smile

I love Philotomy's page!

It was one of the first "musings" that got back to thinking about OD&D.

Some good ideas there.
