Minor Dweomer
Magic-User Spell, Level 1 (Common)

Minor dweomer is one of the first spells learned by neophyte Magic-Users. It is a most unusual spell in that it is never cast, but manifests its utility when memorized.

As long as a Magic-User has minor dweomer memorized and available to cast, he may generate paltry telekinetic effects to accomplish physical tasks he could accomplish with trivial or small effort and the equipment at hand. For example, he could sort coins, use a rag to polish silverware, pour drinks, order a broom to sweep the room, and so on. These effects are generated without having to cast the dweomer. One chosen task may be accomplished at any one time, and takes about as long as it would normally take, but the Magic-User need not sully his hands with physical exertion other than a few peremptory gestures. These effects may be generated as long as the Magic-User has minor dweomer memorized.

To use the dweomer, the Magic-User must have a wand on hand. Any enchanted wand will suffice. If an enchanted wand is not available, the Magic-User may use a wand especially created and attuned for this purpose. Such a wand may be constructed from mundane materials and attuned by the individual Magic-User between adventures.
