The other acceptable medium is the back of a spiral notebook under a hand-drawn Van Halen symbol or set of Led Zeppelin runes. |
This will go up later tonight. |

Barring objections, Sinlocah and Divad are both Acolytes Mendicant in the local branch of the Great Church. Note when selecting alignment that Neutral clerics can only rise to 6th level. And the Church is Lawful, not Good.
Lars and Bhartec are, apparently, village ne'er-do-wells and reprobates.
Y'all might give some thought to why you're hanging around together ... maybe some of you are related, maybe Lars or Bhartec has been ordered to perform service for the Church to make up for some misunderstanding. |

Absolutely. That's a fine old school character sheet!
You'll have max hp (7) for 1st level anyway, but you'll get to re-roll one of your two hit dice upon reaching 2nd level. |

So, do we just mark it down as 80 coins encumbrance for the lot of our miscellanea, or is it 80 per? Also, flint & steel/tinderbox isn't listed. Figure one of us should have one to light the torches with? |

lol @ Proving Grounds scenario diskette
"Shit, surprised by Poison Giants ... off switch, reboot, Recover"
A flint & tinderbox etc prob costs like 1 gp.
We're using the eyeball method for encumbrance. Your armor and treasure carried will in most cases be the major determinants of your movement rate, unless you're obviously carrying 50 lbs of kit.
I'm working hard on the initial campaign region, which is based on the small scale (30 yards to the hex) Tegel Manor wilderness map. Play begins in the quaint and rustic Tegel Village in the ancestral holdings of the Rump family, bearers of the Banner of the Golden Hind. The campaign up through the mid-levels will take place entirely on this map, so we should have a lot of local detail by the time you become movers and shakers in your own right.
There's a players' map of the region which I'll distribute with the setting information. |

This was funny:
"the unspeakable Dearth Monster of Derfingel Marsh"
I about fell of the couch when i read about the Harnic potato. I now have an idea what Sinlocah's family does for a living... |
